Catspiracy...Are cats really alien spies?

Are our domesticated house cats actually sent by aliens to spy on us and report back? According to this VICE article that might be the case. Apparently some people theorize that cats are like alien camcorders, recording our every move! Their evidence cites ancient Egypt's worship of felines, I mean...I kinda get the feeling VICE is punking me with this one. But... it is an interesting thing to think about. Could cats actually be aliens? That might be kind of awesome. I'd probably be swayed to adopt a cat if that were the case!

Oh my god!!! Isn't this so cute??? Jack Davis is a hero in my book. I feel like we would be best friends. We both like Agents of SHIELD, and have seen lots of alien and space movies. We would get along so well! I hope Jack does get to be a Planetary Protection Officer someday.
