Close Encounters with Jade

I heard about this bombardier beetle and had to learn more. Check this thing out. So wicked! It has evolved a self-defense mechanism  that actually contains chemicals which are used in rocket fuel. Rocket fuel beetles. Actually, there are several types of bombardier beetles all over the world and each has their own gnarly defense mechanisms. Whoever thought beetles were harmless was wrong. Yep. That's right. Immortal Jellyfish. Through a process called  transdifferentiation, which involves cells converting from one to another allows this species of Jellyfish to remain immortal. Although they are biologically immortal and can live forever, doesn't mean they always do. They can still be eaten by predators and die. But they're still really neat! Check them out. Some of what we consider to be "lower" life forms are actually really neat. Take Earthworms for example. They have the power of regeneration. I always  thought that was so cool. If I could be any type of worm, I would definitely choose to be an earth worm. What a cool little super power that would be to have. Enemy chops off your head? No sweat! Just grow a new one. Oh my! A lady was face to face with a mountain lion and she sung opera at it to keep it from attacking her! Huh, who would have thought to do that? I certainly wouldn't have thought to use my vocal pipes as a weapon against attacks from wild animals. I'll keep this in mind should I ever be in  a similar situation. So, I was reading abduction stories and came across this one which I found most intriguing! Check this out. Basically to sum it up, a south American farmer in the 1950s claims that he was abducted, brought on board an alien aircraft ship and was then made to have hot sex with a beautiful alien woman. When they were done doing the deed she then signaled to him that she was pregnant by rubbing her belly, and after the sex sesh, returned him home to live out his life as normal. It was a pretty detailed account, still I don't know if I believe him or not. I'd love to watch this as a movie. What do you guys think? Is this story true or false? Today would have been Kurt Cobain's 48th Birthday. Did you know that when he was a kid he used to think he was an alien? He thought his parents weren't really his parents and I guess he maybe thought they abducted him from his real family. Well now there's a new comic dedicated to Cobain and celebrates Nirvana through the fame of Nevermind, by Italian comic Danilo Deninotti and illustrated by Toni Bruno. Sometimes I wonder about parallel worlds and then I read articles like this and wonder how many possible other mes might there be out there in our incredible universe? Can you imagine how many different lives you might be living right now and not even be aware of it? It's definitely fun to think about. Are there alien versions of Jade or is every version of me an Earth-like human type creature? I wonder what another me might be doing right now!
